At the Islamic Tijaniya Foundation of America (ITFA), we believe in fostering a compassionate
and inclusive society by providing essential support to those in need. Our humanitarian and
social services focus on assisting new immigrants, addressing food insecurity, and offering
resources to help individuals build a better future.
Support for New Immigrants:
ITFA plays a crucial role in easing the transition for new
immigrants, helping them integrate into society with dignity and confidence. We provide literacy
classes to help individuals overcome language barriers, offer guidance on navigating daily life in
the U.S., and assist with job placement opportunities. Through mentorship and community
engagement, we work to ensure that new arrivals feel welcomed, supported, and empowered to
succeed.
Food Drives & Community Support:
Access to nutritious food remains a fundamental need for
many in our community. ITFA’s food drives continue to expand, serving an increasing number of
families in need. Despite our efforts, demand still outpaces supply, underscoring the urgent need for additional resources and funding to scale up this vital program. Our goal is to strengthen food security and ensure that no family goes hungry.
